CasinoCamper Report, April 2007 RV Parking: We visited the IP on April 21, 2007 and I talked with security about RV parking. They have two lots where you can park. One is the far west side of the west lot (West of Caillavet Street) the other is in the lot south of the casino, across Bayview Ave. Security told me this is a new thing for them, and they're considering a more...
Casino Camper Report, September, 2009 Believe it or not we only stayed in the RV park, never set foot inside the casino. I think this is a first for us. One thing I can report on, the high pressure car and RV wash is very good. They have a bug remover that worked wonderfully on our old Southwind with 5000 miles of bugs baked onto it. Best bug removal I've seen with least effort....
Casino Camper Review, July 2005 We spent one night, along with 20 other rigs, in the parking lot of this casino in Chiloquin, Oregon just north of Klamath Falls. We were all on our way to a huge RV rally in Redmond, OR. Don't even THINK about playing slot machines here. You may as well just write out a check to them and drop it off. The Video Poker pay tables were the...
Casino Camper Report, August 14, 2009 We visited but didn't spend the night. Nice RV parking area with good access, clear signage, etc. Popular location, was too crowded when we arrived and no room for us to park without unhooking the toad. We wanted to remain hooked up so we headed down the road. Will likely stop by again next year.
Casino Camper Report, August 15, 2009 We stayed one night. Good signage leading to the RV parking area. Huge parking lot with plenty of space for us to park with the toad still hooked up. To park overnight you're supposed to obtain a players club card and then register at the Security booth in the casino. Take your license plate number with you. You can stay three nights, and if you're playing...
Casino Camper Review, July 2006 One of our members on the CasinoCamper forum told us he stayed here in early July and dry camping is still available even with the new RV park open. So we made plans to visit. Timing was good too, because everything East of here is over 100 degrees. The dry camping here is clean, level gravel and it's free. Just check in at the RV park...
One member posted that this casino has been open since 1994 and a new casino seems to have been built in the last two years. Another member said they live in San Antonio and visit this casino often. They said it has a great poker room, a small RV park with full hookups for $15/night, and also allows overnight dry parking. Shuttle available between casino and RV park. Very busy on weekends.
Casino Camper Visit - May, 2006 We stopped in late at night on a weekend. Several RV's already there. All the marked RV parking slots are back-in (or pull in) spots -- no pull through. So if you're pulling a toad you'll have to park across them and take up 7 or 8 spots. It's the same way in front and back RV lot. When you first enter the area, just past...
Casino Camper Update, July 21, 2010 On our Yahoo! forum I received a report from Jim O'Briant, Administrator of the website http://www.OvernightRVParking.com. Jim visited the Fife location in his motor home and discovered that overnight RV parking is no longer allowed. He also observed that for day use the designated RV lot was only suitable for smaller RVs.
Casino Camper Review, 2005 We don't recommend this casino for slot or video poker play; however, the RV parking area is a good deal for an overnight if you prefer to have electric and water hookup vs. dry camping. They have a poker room, but when I was there they opened it only for tournaments. Their video poker pay tables were awful, WA casino slots, you really can't tell what the...
Casino Camper Report - July 1, 2009 Casino temporarily closed due to loss of revenue. 185 employees let go. They expect to reopen.
Casino Camper Report, October 4, 2008 They have plenty of room for any size rig, and security told me we were welcome to park there for 2 or 3 nights if we’d like. RV parking in a large open parking area. Note that you’ll need something to drive from here to anywhere else in the city, because it’s not walking distance. There’s a Hilton Garden hotel on the property, and several...
Casino Camper Report - October, 2008 This casino seems to be a local's favorite with friendly staff and a buffet that's an excellent value. Interesting musical theme. See official info below.
CasinoCamper Note If you're going to be in the area more than one night there is a large, full-hookup RV park across the street at Adventureland, (515) 265-7384. - CasinoCamper Report, October 2 2009 Stayed here again, "no overnight" signs are gone. Casino was very crowded on a Saturday. Parking spots in the Truck/Bus/RV area are pretty tight and fill up every night. Trucks and RV generators can...
- CasinoCamper Report, September 14, 2007 Last night we were passing through Iowa, and looking for somewhere to get a bite to eat and catch some sleep. I noticed the Prairie Meadows Casino was convenient. I gave them a call and asked if they had a place that I could park an RV. They said sure, park with the trucks, it's a big parking lot and you can't miss it. I...
