The casino contacted me to change our info. Due to increased business they need to maximize the use of their parking lot and stop the free overnight RV parking. Day use RV parking is still permitted, and you should park in the overflow lot on Logan Road.
There is no longer an RV park at Circus Circus and overnight RV parking is not allowed.
Two reports posted on forums, one Facebook, the other the CasinoCamper Yahoo Group: Bob on FB Said: "RV'ers Beware: Just for your information, the Grand Casino, Hotel & Resort at Shawnee OK charges $50/night for camper/motor home hookup. The sites don't even include sewer. In our 3 years of fulltiming, we have never paid that much for a site. Our friends, who also are fulltimers, have parked & hooked up here before at a site for...
From Rick & Lucky Lucy This is a great stop especially if you are heading into Canada. The RV park is not that great, parking on grass, but OK. But the good part, it is FREE. That's right, free camping. Go to the Club booth and sign up for a slot card, tell them you are in the RV park and they will give you a voucher for two free nights.
From Rick & Lucky Lucy Great place to overnight, lots of level parking close to the casino. Good food, reasonable price. They do have a very nice RV park. We used their dump station and filled with fresh water -- no charge. However, there was no one around to check with or seek permission. Registration is at the hotel desk.
from Rick & Lucky Lucy Good place to stop if in the Green Bay area. Easy to get to. However, the "free" electrical hook-ups are now $15 per night. No water and no dump station.
(Submitted by Rick & Lucky Lucy) We stayed at the Oxford Casino, near Oxford, Maine, in early October 2013. According to security they permit overnight parking for one night. That's all we needed so took advantage of the offer. There is a section of the parking lot designated for RV parking -- long parking spaces. There was one other motorhome parked there and no other vehicles in these sites. Quiet and level, a good place for an overnight. The casino...
8/19/13 I received the following report: "Cache Creek casino outside of Woodland,Cal. allows overnight parking next to the fire station. If you sign up for club card they give $25.00 credit to use for food." Note that (in general) these signup bonuses come and go and change frequently!
See picture sent in by a website member. Parking lot is small and not level. Note that a previous report says that large RVs are turned away but that small rigs might be able to park (small class B?). Call ahead! NOTE: It was previously reported that there is a campground 4 miles away. The campground's website is no longer active so you should do more research before looking to...
In the 5 years since my last rating the IP has been renovated, expanded, and sold to Boyd Gaming. Today it's a very nice casino, clean, bright, well ventilated. Dining options are better than ever. The buffet is "good". The coffee shop (High Tide Cafe) is very good! By the way, for you new gamblers, or non-Vegas gamblers, the term "coffee shop" refers to a basic full service restaurant with a...
Updating my March 2009 comments. Construction underway so be aware that traffic patterns may change. RV parking still in the same location. Go in main entrance and turn left to reach the RV/Bus lot. Buffet is good here although you'll definitely want the Total Rewards discount as prices have increased significantly. Steakhouse is a good bet. Agave restaurant serves good breakfast and lunch. It becomes the "Diamond Lounge" in...
The following report was posted on our Yahoo! group... NOT RV FRIENDLY. There is no parking area suitable for a Motorhome. The only place to park is at the curb of a DEAD-END side street. We called from 100 miles away to check and were told "Sure, come on!" but found they had nothing but a parking garage for cars. I was really upset when I thought I had to disconnect my toad to...
"We stayed at the Hacienda without incident a couple weeks ago. We had a nice meal in the steak house and a nice view over what used to be the lake. There were several other rigs in the lot with us; my full report is here: http://ourodyssey.blogspot.com/2012/02/chopper-central.html I will note that the large dirt lot across the street adjacent to the fuel station, where the trucks normally park, is a good deal smaller...
...we spent several nights in our more usual spot behind Paris Las Vegas and it's sister properties on either side, Bally's and Planet Hollywood. That's our favorite spot in LV because it is a short walk to the strip and several very nice properties; more details and a photo can be found in parts of these two posts: http://ourodyssey.blogspot.com/2012/02/vegas-wedding.html http://ourodyssey.blogspot.com/2012/02/au-revoir-paris.html Thanks to Sean, http://ourodyssey.blogspot.com, for his report on the Casino Camper Yahoo!
