Signs directed "oversize" to a huge gravel lot outside of curved road. Found level without much trouble in this Huge area, but not the asphalt area shown in pictures. Casino is nice, antenna tv and phone are good, fuel is close but grocery is a bit away. Stayed 3 nights with good sun for solar.
Stayed 2 nights with at Least 2 dozen trucks - idle all night or start up about 6:00am to leave. Smell and noise would keep me away or I would try my luck in the regular parking lot. Also, on google satellite view, I see a large gravel parking area due south about 200yds, probably an old construction lot, I drove through it and it would be excellent if allowed? Casino is good and highway access is easy. Grocery and...
Stayed 4 nights. Parked on the far side next to the 'residential' area with a grassy lawn and trees - felt like I had my own yard. One morning train just after sunrise. Many other rv's and trucks came and went while I was there. Wonderful home base for Antietam, C&O Canal and Harper's Ferry. Casino very nice - all table games include 'regular' craps - and some thoroughbred racing while I was there. Antena tv received PBS and NBC,...
The sign for No Weekend Camping is still there, but I stayed Sat. to Tues. with no problems and was in the company of Many truckdrivers. There are RV hook-ups at the Holliwood and Sam's Town casino's but with solar I only need a parking lot. This area is really starting to become 'run down' with so many casinos and so few people...several casinos have closed. But if you're traveling up the River Road or saying "HI" to Elvis this...
With the addition of the new Golden Nugget casino next door, the RV sites have been eliminated. I did see some parking lot campers, but no more specific sites or hook-ups. A Very nice casino as is the new Nugget next door. I stayed at the Isle - still has hook-ups and dry camp.
A very nice, full service casino, with excellent dining.
OMG what a Wonderful place. Sleeping with the sounds of the ocean every night - I think I should Move here! :-) Walked on the beach every day and Really enjoyed the stay here. HUGE gravel parking area for rv - not level but I have boards. No antenna tv or phone reception and Not very good grocery or fuel access. Casino is nice with regular table games and slots and pricey food. WiFi available in the lobby (with my...
$15 dry camp in big lot next to rv FHU camping site (don't know cost there). Access to dump and WiFi. FHU site very busy so was not able to drive through to use dump. Nice casino with regular tables and lots of slots. Dining seemed Pricey so did not try. Grocery and Fuel readily available.
I found this to be a very nice stay. Big parking lot for rv's to park themselves but no 'marked' spots. Not level but I have blocks. WiFi???-Did not work for me. No antenna tv. Good beach access for a nice walk. Grocery and fuel readily available. Casino nice with good table games and lots of slots. Food seemed pricey so did not try.
Turn left as you enter and find an 'RV' parking lot on top of the hill. 'Tight' road coming in from highway. Needed some leveling boards but a nice little place to stay. They have Potable water available. I was also able to get WiFi from the Tribal Office. Numerous tv antenna stations. Small grocery in town and two nice wine tasting places. Fog all day the three days I was there in Sept. Casino mostly slots with a Blackjack...
