What a Strange Place !! The casino is renovated and very nice with plenty of parking on a new surface (should be free) - but the adjacent 'campground' looks like a squatters village !! ? Could be a Beautiful area out on a peninsula of the lake but you'd have to fit in with all the junk. $10 night for no hookups out in the field and $25 for full hookup in the 'campground'. WiFi available in...
Previous comments all good -- keep going Past casino for the south end entrance (just around a curve). Parking in the 'truck' area or adjacent lot if you'd rather be away from truckers. It is a good distance down a small 2 lane road (about 10 miles) to get there and thus going back 'into town' for grocery or fuel or to get back to the highway takes some time. So it is Not as easy access...
Hard to believe this is the same organization as in Marquette, MI. ! ! Baraga is $20 Fee for W/E/S which may not be bad but only one free slot play per person (a gip if you're only one person). NO TV what-so-ever, sparse radio and weak cell service. There is Free WiFi but pretty slow when people are active. Cable boxes along the back or rv sites, but front desk said they no longer work. RV...
Wonderful RV'n experience. Very RV friendly -- and FREE ! ! Elec. only, but good 30/50 amp service. Water available if you ask at the front of the casino but very tight maneuver and could not make it with 30' 5th wheel. Maybe try in the mornings before the cars get there. No dump or sewer of any type. But, you DO receive $5 slot play Each Day you register at the desk AND 2...
Nice little casino with a Wonderful set-up for RV's. There are 2 30amp plugs up along the west edge of the small parking lot (you could stay on hard surface and reach these) and 10 20amp plugs in the grass area along the trees, almost a little park like setting. Ground is firm and no trouble setting up. FREE elec. connections but no water or dump available. I stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the fairly loose slot...
Tiny little casino and just as Tiny for the parking lot. RV's are stacked like sardines in the west parking lot. BUT - there is Free Electricity ! ! 4 pedestals with two sides each and both 30 and 50 amp outlets -- although other 'campers' tell me not All outlets work. Stay here was fine if you weigh the close neighbors with the free elec.. Good location for Pictured Rocks and Bay Furnace and other attractions...
Beautiful little casino. Lots of slots and some tables includ. craps (limited open time). Parking lot for Free is on a slope so you will need some good leveling. The "RV Park" area is around the edges of the parking lot with w/e pedestals and is $15 night to hookup. There is a dump station in the back as you exit. Very dark at night (which I personally like) because they have turned off the parking lot lights. Don't...
Ridiculous new prices - FHU $40 - w/e $30 ---- don't casinos know if they just Give it away, most people will stay longer and spend more inside on food and games ? ! ? We were told we could stay One night only free in parking lot but they were not pleasant about it. It's a Beautiful parking area by the boat ramp overlooking the bay -- too bad this is not where the RV park...
Beautiful casino. We opted for the Free parking lot and not the $20 plug ins at the 'rv park'. TV and phone reception good. Good grocery and fuel in town. Don't miss the Corps of Engineers lock area downtown.
Casino undergoing Major renovation. This also involves the parking lot which is much smaller than shows on Google satellite and has some angled spaces marked for RV / Truck like a welcome or visitors center but they are on a slope and there would be no room for slides so overnight Free in the parking lot is not really feasible. Campground is taken by seasonal with only about 6 spaces left for travelers or reservations - mostly reservations. $35...
For some reason this location does not show on the search map for WI - I hope you find this review if you are going to the area ! ! NO parking lot parking - park at rv campground Only ! ! Electric and wonderful location right on the lake for a fee -- $35 night even as a casino player. Very small but nice (seems almost new) casino with some slots and a couple of Black...
Enjoyed a nice stay at this casino. Even got in a round of Excellent golf ! ! Lots and Lots of slots with a little Black Jack. People were very friendly and security patrolled often through the lot and gave no trouble. Good location to see and do things in Duluth or a kick off point for going up the north shore. Good access to grocery and fuel. I stayed 3 nights.
Wish I had taken a Picture - my apologies to fellow campers that I didn't. There IS an rv park with elec., not sure about water, and no dump - $25 night $75 week. I selected the Free parking lot. For overnight parking, make sure you fill out the 'overnight parking' form with security - easy to do at the players card desk. The rv park is in a Very nice shaded area away from the casino...
Absolutely NO overnight parking in lot ... even if campground is closed (i'm here in April). Finally, about 10:00pm it was decided that we could park in the campground for the normal $20 fee but no 'services' were available. In the summer, this would be a Wonderful location. Just along a stream and they say Excellent fishing. FHU sites with 30/50 for $20, no overhanging trees although there is shade. Sites are close together so it would be...
Parking lot is still free and Plenty of space - I found a gravel area with some trees, was very nice and close to entry. RV Park has ridiculous fees (in my opinion) for a casino -- Sun - Thus. $29 + tax -- Fri. Sat. $38 + tax per night -- $23 per night if you stay 28 days or more. They do have everything, laundry, WiFi, Good Sam, FHU etc. I also got WiFi in the...
