Renamed Gila River Casino/Vee Quiva. They have an RV/truck designated parking lot on gravel and parking is limited to only 24 hours. There are 5 eating places in the casino, but all expensive.

rv area is at very end in a gravel area, semis park here too, but only 1 and i was the only rv. they were nice saying i could stay 2 nights but they said i cant leave the rv. so sounds like they dont want you parking the rv and go tour the town in your car. i didnt ask as i was not towing a car anyhow.

June 7, 2009
report from Burke, June 7, 2009
We stayed overnight in out 5th wheel last December en-route from Northern California to Benson, AZ. We were directed by Security to the upper lot on the left as you approach the casino and asked to park parallel to the curb at the top of the lot – although the striping for the auto parking go the other way. We were made to feel welcome and Security was frequently cruising the area. In fact, the place we were asked to park could be seen by the security personnel stationed at the front door of the casino.

Although the facility appears to be relatively new, the food service was limited to cafeteria style “fast food.” It was a good experience and I would recommend it to other RVers.

Although the first ten miles south of I-10 (on 51st ?) was under construction with lots of big trucks in the industrial area, it is a great way to bypass downtown Phoenix. As noted above, we were headed southeast and,  continuing south from the casino, connected back up with I-10 south of Phoenix.

Vee Quiva Casino
We drove thru parking lot and didn’t see good place to stay. Hardest to find as poor signage until you find the main entrance. Didn’t stay or play.
