Mountaineer Casino Racetrack and Resort

(April 2016) phoned ahead and got instructions on where to park when we arrived (down by "The Harv", the event center between Casino and Race Track). Paved lot with minor slope - depending on where you park you may need to block your unit. Within 5 minutes of pulling in Security came by, welcomed us and answered our questions. Security Camera and frequent passes of Security vehicle throughout our stay. No shuttle to casino while we were there, but if we really needed it, Security would come pick us up. Short walk to casino - NO SMOKING facility.

Stayed several days, they put me in the lot next to the Event Center with the day buses and another class A. Don't know where they would put you if there was actually and Event going on in the center? There is also a very large lot around by the race track. Otherwise, security was good, casino was nice and a pleasant stay overall. No fuel or grocery readily available so come loaded, cell phone and antenna tv were good.

*Caution* - Ohio River crossing at East Liverpool is an old bridge - 10 ton Limit and 14' clearance posted (with NO turn around) and with a Toll of $1.00 (w/ trailer). Not sure where the next available crossing is - my truck and 33' 5th wheel made it, probably right on the posted limit - no comment from the toll keeper.
