We found that the information posted in June 2009 to be still correct. We were lucky enough to stop during a promotion where if we showed them a Player's Card from an Atlantic City casino - we used our Total Rewards card -and you signed up as a new player you received $100 in free slot play! This was absolutely the best sign up offer we have ever seen. There still does not seem to be a limit of how long you can stay in the RV lot. You just need to let security know. I would definitely come back here again.

report from Mark M., June 6, 2009
We spent Memorial Day weekend 2009 at Mohegan Sun. Looks like they're doing construction, so their old RV parking area is no more. Now there is a turn off at the first traffic light as you approach the casino. The road leads to two lots for RV and oversize vehicle parking. There first lot on the right did not exclude RV's, but when we were there it was almost all tour busses and a couple of trucks.
Follow the road down the hill, then turn left up the hill, and at the top is a second lot. This seems to be the preferred parking area for RV's. Most of the time there was a security vehicle there, and the guard issues you a permit to park. No fee or anything, you just say how long you plan to stay. Mohegan Sun has some of the most friendly security people I've ever met.
The parking lot is not overly level. Spaces nearest the road are a little noisy, but middle spaces and those near the hill are more quiet. Not a lot of green around to exercise the dog, but there was some.
No more easy walk to the casino, I'm afraid, but shuttle buses ran every 10 or 15 minutes during the day, though less often at night.

I recently stayed in the RV parking lot at the Mohegan Sun casino in CT. Lots of room but the parking lot is deceptively unlevel. I see big rigs with blocks under the jacks to give more reach. Beautiful casino. There is no check in.

New directions for parking - You are welcome to stay at no charge in our bus and oversized vehicle lot, which is on the casino grounds. There are no hookups. Follow the signs for oversized parking. We are currently directing all oversized vehicles to our new Turtle and Bear parking lots. These lots are especially designed for oversized vehicles with large turning areas and spaces lined out to fit these vehicles.
The best way to reach these lots is to enter the property on the Blvd and follow the signage for "Oversized Vehicles". As you enter property stay in the right lane and take your first right off the Blvd. into the M lot/Thames garage area, and stay to the right travelling past Thames garage (but still in the M lot). The Turtle lot is your next right and the Bear lot is your next left. There are shuttle stops nearby that will bring you to the casino.

I wanted to update you on the state of RV parking at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT. They are planning another hotel tower which, I believe, will affect the RV parking area, to some degree. They created two large parking areas closer to the entrance road to the casino. I have seen tour busses parked in one lot and RVs parked in the other lot. I believe that the entrance to these lots is at the traffic light on the road to the casino. I saw 1 or 2 shuttle stop structures so it appears that they have shuttle service from the RV lot although I cannot confirm this with 100% certainty. Anyone who is planning to take their RV to Mohegan should probably call to find out the particulars of the new parking area. I don't remember seeing any RVs parked in that back lot the last time I was there.
