RV parking in Lot E, just follow the signs. No registration needed. Most RVs park around the perimeter of the lot. It's a bit slanted but ok for a night or two. It gets pretty crowded with RVs and semis. Pretty quiet. Short walk to the casino from the lot, just go towards the buildings you see and you will come across a staircase that leads you the casino. We ate at Rustic Kitchen and it was a good meal, although expensive. Walmart is about 5 miles away - it is much more crowded and noisier, better to stay here.

We stayed 4 nights and called ahead to security, they were very nice and asked I use E lot. While there are shuttles we only had a very short walk which is fine. The casino was enjoyable and smells great, thank you for the effort as we don't like the cig smoke.
I played poker for a few days and made to feel at home. We will return again!
Btw, signs for rv and oversize vehicles will send you off property, don't follow them. Just stay on outer loop and look for lots D and E.

We are relatively new RVers. Called ahead to verify we could stop and was told to park in lots D or E. Agree about confusing signs for where to park, so was glad I had called ahead. Parked along edge so we could extend slides over grass, although another RV extended theirs into a hatched area. Several RVs and a few tractor/trailer rigs were there. Dining covers all level of expense so you should be able to find what you want. Casino was nice. All in all a nice stop and change of routine.

Signs directed "oversize" to a huge gravel lot outside of curved road. Found level without much trouble in this Huge area, but not the asphalt area shown in pictures. Casino is nice, antenna tv and phone are good, fuel is close but grocery is a bit away. Stayed 3 nights with good sun for solar.

This is another modest-sized casino that expands on an existing horse-racing track. Parking lots are on the casino side of a curved road that runs along one side of the race track, hotel, and casino. No registration was necessary. We did not see many security patrols, though the parking lots were actual close enough to the casino that we did not feel isolated. There were also frequent shuttles to the casino (in spite of it being no more than a short walk). The lot was fairly quiet and we felt safe.

When we were there RVs and oversized vehicles were parked at the end of the casino farthest from the racetrack. The parking lot is hilly; it takes work to get level, but it can be done. There are islands of grass and some small trees that break up the openness of the lot, reducing through traffic and keeping speeds lower in the parking areas. Also made it easier to walk the dog. Some RVs were parked in the next lot closer to the casino and that seemed fine too.

A new parking lot is under construction on the outer side of the curved road, also near the back of the casino. Though still a work in progress as of June 2014, there was already a sign posted that it will be “Oversize Vehicle Parking - Buses, RV’s, Tractor Trailers”. This will only minimally change the distance to the casino, though it will then be necessary to cross the driveway to walk there. Doesn’t look like it will be any more level than the existing parking areas. Didn’t look like they planned to break it up with the grass islands.

The casino itself is laid out in the center of a round building. Slots and table games are in the center. Smoking and non-smoking sections have nothing to separate them, so even non-smoking is a little smokey.

There are restaurants and a couple of shops on the perimeter. Decent restaurants is what we like the most about Mohegan Sun. Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse was a standout for us; they have an awesome bistro menu if you eat in the bar/lounge. The shops are kinda negligible: casino-themed gifts; wine and cheese.
