Visited here early September 2018. Very neat and level campground, but open w/no trees or shade for warm weather. About 30 sites, mostly pull-through, w/power and water. Short walk to side casino door. Registration is at Tours desk right inside that door rather than hotel desk. We also saw RV’s in the large parking lot overnight. Casino is typical, lots of slots, some table games, blackjack and Texas Holdem and one 3-card poker table. The buffet...
Stayed here two nights in March 2017. The new park has fairly wide paved sites with rock in between. They all appear to be level. Although the advertised price is $50, we were charged $35 plus tax. Two things: The wifi was basically useless, and there isn't a tree in sight so I would imagine it would be pretty hot in the summer. The casino was an average casino, nothing special about it. We ate at the buffet,...
Have stayed here several times as it is convenient--right on highway 2 and 18 miles from Escanaba. The RV park is decent if you don't plan to spend any time outside. The sites are close together and the mosquitos are horrendous as the whole campground is surrounded by bog. There are decent table games and lots of slots. The food is pretty good--there are three restaurants but no buffet.
Good RV park w/full hookups. Lots of trees. Short walk to the casino. $25 a night but a $10 credit for gaming. Buffet wasn't very good for the $16 it cost on a Sunday night. Chicken was dry--a few bars and one ice cream for dessert. A big room w/no decoration--they need to hang something on the walls. Two other casinos in the area.
Casino updated a year ago w/good table games and slots. But don't plan to stay overnight. The "RV park" consists of some electric posts set in a parking lot that slopes downhill so that you could never get level. Instead stay at another casino that is about 11 miles west. They have a good RV park w/full hookups.
The casino is small but not tiny. They have interesting machines and tables, including 3-card, Mississippi Stud, Flush, craps and roulette. The parking areas are just open flat concrete and there is freeway noise but they are close to the casino. The buffet has better than average food and there are often deals w/your player card. For instance, last night, dinner was $10 and we got $10 in slot credit back. There is a gas station w/convenience store and two...
There are two RV parks w/water and electric that seemed adequate. Some of the units were obviously long term residents. There are about 10 sites at the top of the parking lot w/electric that are great for one or two nights. Only a short walk to the casino door. Parking without paying for a site would be uncomfortable as the parking lot is entirely on a slant. Buffet food was average or a little better but cheap. Walleye night was...
