Price has gone up a bit since our last stop. Per day fee is now $11.36, still a bargain for full hook-up. We did notice security going around to each site, first time we have seen anyone checking campers. Rick
The other reviews of this part pretty well covers it so this is just a confirmation those reviews are still valid. The price is more like $10.75 since they now have to charge tax, still a bargain for full hook-up, wi-fi included. The grounds can get a little messy if it rains and we have been "lucky" enough to experience rain in New Mexico. We stay there (both directions) when visiting Las Vegas from our home in...
Once again we spent a big part of the winter in Sam's Town RV Park. We arrived on 19th of Nov, 2015 and departed on the 19th of Jan, 2016. The monthly rate coupled with some free days and promotions got us down to about $18 per day. The park personnel worked with us to ensure we got the best rates and to take advantage of our promotions, a good trick considering all the restrictions...
Since we have quite a few Total Rewards points on our Harrah's cards, we usually stay there (free food). It gripes me to pay for a place to park so in the past we told them we were hotel guests (sometimes we actually were). The last time we did this they sent us to the parking lot with the buses and trucks. So this time we decided we would bite the bullet and pay the $5...
We stay here when passing through Laughlin on the way to Las Vegas, last time Nov 2015. The overnight parking is free and the parking lot large and level, plenty of space to spread out. The folks in the casino, including security, are friendly and we always feel welcome. Food in the cafe is nothing to brag about but edible. The casino is old and smokey but fun, like stepping through a time...
We have 2 RV Parks: 1. 22 RV spaces are available just north of our main parking area. · Upon arrival you must register your vehicle and make any payments at the Hotel Gift Shop. 2. We also have a 40 space Downstream RV Park with Wifi service...
We stayed here again a couple nights the winter of 2014. Pretty much the same, still had full pay JoB VP at the dollar level. The buffet got a major overhaul and is pretty nice; still has good food at a reasonable price. The Diamond Lounge has been moved to a former restaurant, larger and can seat more members. Still a good stop if in the area and getting to use Harrah's Total Reward points for...
Sam's Town is pretty much our winter's destination these days. We have spent a month or more 3 of the last 4 winters at ST. We like the RV park and the park office personnel are friendly and helpful. They went the extra mile to help us cash in some free nights (ST has some obscure regulation about not doing back-to-back promotions). The RV park is an easy walk...
We spent a couple nights here and used the $10 per night hook-up, electricity only. The spaces are very close together and really tight for big rigs. Easy walk to the casino especially if you cut through the employee area. The best feature of this stop was access to the fitness facility. In addition to work out equipment there were nice showers and they furnished the towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, etc. The...
Recent bridge construction over the Missouri River has made getting to this casino difficult. The new bridge is now complete but work continues on exit ramps, access roads, etc, but should be cleared up in the next few months.
