I recently spent a few days in Wendover (July 2018) in a hotel, however everywhere I went I was checking out the RV parking situation. I walked out behind the Nugget and looked over the lots (standing on an elevated bridge) and it looks to me like there is a new RV facility there in back of the casino. I saw hookups and there were at least four or five RV's there. That's all I know....
Sad to say, I had heard that this casino was no longer allowing overnight RV's. Went to their website, found this...."Construction work to add a more convenient, east/west travel lane through the Muckleshoot Casino parking lot currently requires the prohibition of on-site RV, semi and oversized vehicle parking".
Didn't even know it was there, just stumbled by, turned in and went for it. Nice, large, grassy spaces, three rows of pull thoughs. Cable worked, but it was fuzzy. Paid 23 bucks for the assigned site at the hotel desk. It was a great place to overnight, dump my tanks etc. Went to the buffet, not something I normally do, it was small it but did the trick. ...
Nice to see that they reversed their no overnight policy. I laughed when I read the sign, a paragraph about points etc. Bottom line, you play, you can stay. They had to have quite a few meetings to come up with that policy. If you don't have a permit in your window by 10pm they might just kick you out. Bring lots of levelers unless you're lucky and get a flat site. It's all...
Good spot for an overnight if you're looking to hook up, cheap enough. The casino is small, everything is hand pays, not good for much unless you're really looking to kill some time. Ate in the cafe once, just eh, the next time through I microwaved a Lean Cusine. I was there off season, middle of December and I got the last spot at 5pm, just before dark. No reservations taken here....
I like this casino, it doesn't gouge you. I saw potential in the free RV parking however when I cruised the RV parking lot my "safety meter" started sounding. If there are other rigs around I'll park almost anywhere, but these rigs were of the questionable variety (hey, I'm not a snob, trust me) and they looked like they'd been sitting there for awhile.
