By the time we went to bed last Tuesday the Truck parking lot was full- 90% trucks and most of them had their engines running. And they moved in and out all night. We had gotten between 2 other RV's on the far area so the noise wasn't too bad- but constant. Had the best chicken Quesadillas in the bar - WOW. They put chicken, cheese, grilled onions and grilled bell peppers inside. So tasty. ...
This casino resort has its own huge generator- enough to run the casino hotel, gas station and mini-mart. When Northern California had power shut off last week due to fires in Sonoma County this place was "up and running". But by Sunday the Sports Bar, gas station and restaurant had long lines for service. Parking lot is not level but there are areas that come close. Did not have 1 truck the 3 days we were...
Have about 8 spaces on a level gravel area north side casino. "RV parking only". Trucks and buses park in a different lot. Spaces were wide enough for us to put out our one slide and room left over. Approx. 45 feet long. Generators and motors were off by 9:30PM. Quiet all night long. Only noise was humming from the casino power plant. About 8 miles from Highway 5. Casino has slots...
Park- Using a Players Club Card go play- Accumulate 20 points then swipe your card at a kiosk to receive an Overnight Parking Voucher. Take the voucher to the Winners Circle. Need to know your site number and license plate number. They will fill out a form and give you a 1-night RV Parking Placard to be placed in your window. Have them put both you and your spouse on the form with each Winners Circle Card...
Dry camping rules have changed. A sign at the entrance to the dry camp area asks you to check in at the front desk of the hotel. When we did all they asked is "How long are you staying?". He told us we could stay 3 nights and then gave us a little yellow slip to hang in our window. No registration- asked no other information. No charge. No rules. Level gravel area- well...
The rates increased May 1st. In the RV park back in spaces are now $50.00. The Dry Camp area is now $25.00. The Dry Camp rate still includes access to showers, laundry and WiFi. Also can dump tanks and fill water
Still LOVE this little casino BUT they now have a 2 night limit with no exceptions. Love the food- Love the employees. The prices are really good for the quality. Stayed our 2 nights - ate, drank and played poker in the bar each night . Jim then played in the Poker tournaments each night- I played slot machines (both nights). When asked if we could stay a 3rd night so Jim could play in another...
The travel center here has gas for $3.19 a gallon. Just saw gas prices 50 miles away for $4.59 a gallon. Nothing has really changed since our last visit. Small slot machine casino at a Truck/Travel stop. Several fast food restaurants outside. Inside there is a full service bar. New card members play and accumulate 10 points = then casino puts $20.00 on their card for free play. Large parking lot on a...
Saw billboard along highway advertising free play in casino with purchase of 50 gallons of gas at their Travel Center- could not read it all as we were going down the highway at 60 miles an hour..... Pulled in and asked gas station attendant for details. He stated that we would receive a $10.00 slot play on our card for every 50 gallons of gas we put in our RV. Pumped gas and took our stamped receipts...
Sign entering RV/Truck parking area reads "24 hour stay". Lot on east side of new hotel and casino is slightly sloped but our jacks got us level. LARGE empty lot. Trucks (2) and buses (which left by evening) were parked on other side of street. Shuttle driver came immediately and we asked he come back at a certain time (which he did). Yes, we did "tip" him which is our choice. Uncomfortable with "names"...
Spent 1 night here-on the road. I thought the dirt parking area was nice size. You could park anywhere and there was a separate lot for the trucks so we did not have to listen to their motors at night. There seem to be "ridges" in the ground that marked one space from another so we had plenty of room. Easy walk across the parking area to the casino. Friendly people. Right off the...
As of March 7,2019 there will be NO RV parking in the front lot. All rigs will have to park behind the casino in the "west" parking area. We were notified in writing about this change. Had spent 3 days in the front lot with no problems.
Stopped for a break- did not go in the little casino. This is a Truck stop station with a McDonald's. Has a medium size paved lot behind the station- slight grade- needed front jacks to level. 2-3 Rv's on one side of the lot and 3 trucks on the other side. Well lite and quiet. I do not think many trucks spend the night here- just gas and food. The hillside...
This penny slot casino is now Terrible's Roadhouse with a Denny's Rest. attached. Drove through town 2X before realizing the the Nugget was gone and the sign had changed. Large parking lot on the south side of Denny's- level & gravel. Did not go in the casino but drove on down to Terrible's Truck Stop for a break.
1st pulled into Cactus Pete's-security told us to park behind the parking garage with the trucks from the travel stop. Decided to drive over to Buffalo Bill's. RV parking behind the casino near the back door. Level- had 2 other RV's- well lite- quiet. Security drove around but never spoke to us. Went in the casino- WOW old, musty smell and no one inside. We were probably 2 of 20 people in the whole...
