Things are under construction at The Angel. As of Nov/15, RV parking (Dry ) is at the paved north parking lot. They still want you to register at the Gas Station (south area) but there is no charge. We have stayed at the Angel many times over the last few years. To get a spot with plug ins, you need a reservation in advance for the weekends. We have dry camped there numerous times, and as long as you stay in the area for RV's , there is no problem for overnighting. (The info on the Angel says no overnighting but no problem)
