We stayed (and reviewed) this Casino a few years ago. Nothing has changed significantly since then. Parking area for RVs is behind the building (follow signage to avoid low clearance route). Check in with casino front desk for parking pass which is good for up to 7 nights. No hookups in parking lot.
Cactus Pete's, right off US 93 in Jackpot NV offers both RV campground sites as well as general parking (boon docking). When you first pull in to the parking area, you'll notice a campground section. But wait, if you drive to the bottom of the campground, and look to your left, you'll see a 2nd, more private campground run by Cactus Pete's - this one (East location) has showers and laundry. Both areas offer full hook up and pull...
There are 6 pedestals with 2 electric plugs (15 amp) each along the back row. There is also 1 site with a 50 amp plug the next "row" forward. Term "row" is used loosely as there are no markings as to that area, just some light posts. RV parking area is a sloped dirt area with several deep ruts from water run off. We actually had to put our truck into 4W/low to make it out of one of...
We stayed in late April - no water as city hadn't turned it on yet - sometime in early May we were told. Also, there was no cable TV. There were new cable connections at every site, but again we were told, guess it hasn't been turned on yet. Sites are back ins to a common utility corridor, shared post for each 2 sites. There are 5 picnic tables placed throughout the utility corridor. If you want/need showers and not...
(April 2016) phoned ahead and got instructions on where to park when we arrived (down by "The Harv", the event center between Casino and Race Track). Paved lot with minor slope - depending on where you park you may need to block your unit. Within 5 minutes of pulling in Security came by, welcomed us and answered our questions. Security Camera and frequent passes of Security vehicle throughout our stay. No shuttle to casino while we were there, but if...
(April 2016) We pulled in to the Casino lot (not Bingo Hall) and headed to the back corner where we saw loads of RVs. After we set up and walked about the lot, noticed signs saying NO RVs in lot. Phoned Security and they said provided we were in the far end of the lot we'd be ok. Lot is paved but angled so we needed boards on one side to level. Parking lot is right next to highway, but...
(April 2016) Phoned ahead of our arrival to inquire to RV parking. Very pleasant lady advised they do have a large open lot where RVs can park but your not allowed to stay overnight in your unit. If you want to stop to play and then move on, she said come on in. Stay to the right and go past Valet parking to the large open lot. Needless to say, we did not stop to play
As others have said, the parking lot, although paved is very uneven - slopes towards the Thames River - you can park right along the guard rail and look down in to the river, but be prepared to be up in the air on one side of your rig if you do. We ended up in center of lot, straddling several sites to find a level enough spot for our rig. When you arrive, phone security and they'll come up...
Easy access off Highway - directly across roadway as you exit. Signs clearly direct to RV parking area (behind buildings). Several RV parking only designated back-in and pull-thru sites on paved surface. Parking lot is sloped so bring leveling blocks. You need to register for a player's card and advise of your presence within 4 hours of arriving. Allowed to stay for 7 consecutive nights but there are NO hookups. Parking lot rules indicate "Quiet" parking 24 hr/day - not...
Easy access from I-90. Several RV's were parked along grass strips between parking areas. Fairly level areas so you should be able to pick and choose, otherwise you may need a level on one side. Shuttles passed through lot frequently, stopping at covered bus shelters located throughout parking area. Casino was nice, not too small, not large. We had a decent time.
Good sized paved parking lot. We phoned and asked about RV parking and were advised Wind River did not have RV hookups, but that some of the utility poles along the far line had electric outlets. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and saw a few other rigs scattered about. There were 4 utility poles with plugs (15 amp outlets), 3 were taken by other RVs. We tried the 4th and found it did not work. There is one section...
