Casino undergoing Major renovation. This also involves the parking lot which is much smaller than shows on Google satellite and has some angled spaces marked for RV / Truck like a welcome or visitors center but they are on a slope and there would be no room for slides so overnight Free in the parking lot is not really feasible. Campground is taken by seasonal with only about 6 spaces left for travelers or reservations - mostly reservations. $35 night for w/e with NO option for un-serviced sites for RV (tent only) and NO option for free parking Anywhere. I think the Marina / Campground are their own entity and not really with the casino -- Rude manager and summer teenagers 'manning' the desk. We came on a Thurs. as a traveler and there was NO room. "did we have a Reservation ?" was the first question. DO NOT plan to travel and stay here in season to gamble - everything will be taken - NOT recommended ! If you get Lucky - campground overlooks Grand Portage Bay, has laundry, no antenna tv and last chance (before Canada) fuel on site and National Monument close by. Lots of room here if someone could figure out how to let rv's just park for the night. Good Luck !
