- report from reader C. Randle, June 2008
I have been by the Chinook Winds three times and each time the RV parking area was full.
The last time I drove the motorhome into the overflow car parking lot which was 95% empty (I think it is used for staff parking). I was immediately challenged by a security guard in a pickup truck whom I told we were just going into the casino for lunch and an hour or two on the slots. We told him we would not stay overnight. He pointed to a small sign that said, "No RV Parking" and asked, "Didn't you see the sign?". I had not seen it and told him so. He told me the sign means what it says and I would have to park in the RV lot. I told him it was full and he said to try again tomorrow. We went on our way.
