- from Art J., October 2007
We stayed at Apache Gold RV Park outside of Globe, AZ and were quite disappointed in it.
Check in is at the store/gas station. My wife went in and was told to go find a spot where everything worked and come back. What that meant was that they didn't fix anything when it broke. Two sites shared the power pedestal. Each pedestal had one 30 amp and one 50 amp connection. That means that if your power cord has a 30 amp connection and your neighbor is using it, you need to find a different spot. When we got hooked up we were a quite a way from the "office". No dinghy or bicycle so we walked it which was good for us. No shuttle to the casino and a pretty dirty park. Lots of permanent occupants. We live in Phoenix but we won't be back. $23.00/night
