DEFINITELY RV FRIENDLY. The RV sites are back in with room for 1 side of slides. Electrical hookups are $7.00 night with a membership card. They also have spaces with no power -free?.....Stay 3 nights and the 4th is free (does not have to be consecutive- can accumulate over time). When you join they give you $5.00 free slot play. Also have various promotions/specials on different days. Food prices- excellent. Breakfast of 2 eggs, meat, hashbrowns & toast for $2,99. Happy Hour in the bar 3-6PM. STAFF WAS VERY POLITE AND FRIENDLY. Ventilation system works great- I did not smell any smoke although there were people smoking. Yes, it is out of town and in a rural area but it is a great stop for crossing the Canadian border at Sumas. Easy to find. Will come back to this casino anytime we are in this area....

BE WARNED: THIS CASINO IS CLOSED> On August 5th 2017 we spent considerable time, effort and expense to travel to this rather out-of-the-way and difficult to find casino only to learn from a polite but dog-eared notice on the entry door, that it has been CLOSED since June 16th 2017. Apparently the management were in breach of certain gambling regulations. The closure may only be temporary, but it is not certain that this website will be aware of re-opening since they either were not informed or failed to update on the closure. Anyone using this website to find casinos needs to be aware of this apparent failure to update the listings. Needless to say, we could not stay in what looked to be well-provided facilities in what can only be a 10 year old site. A pity but not the end of western civilization ...

[Editors Note: (Nov 2017) This casino is OPEN again. - (Aug 2017) Thank you for letting us know about this closure.  We can only update casino information if we're made aware of the changes. Unfortunately, almost no casino informs us directly of any changes. We rely on website users, like you, to let us know of changes when they visit a casino.]

April 2010
Report from D. Walters, April 2010

Nooksack Northwood Casino is located about half way between the
Aldergrove and Sumas border crossings on Hwy 546 (E. Badger Rd) and less than a mile from the Canadian border. Go North on Northwood Rd approximately 2 miles. Be advised there are no signs, you must pay attention to the road signs. The property owners in the area are not excited about the casino, so I assume they won't allow any advertisements or signs.

The casino is fairly new and medium in size. There are a couple of restaurants, a buffet style and a bar with restaurant. The slots appear typical, we played for 15 minutes and tripled our money.
There is a nice RV area on the East side of the casino with 10 spots, 8 with 30amp hookups, no water or sewer. Dry camping is allowed and the parking lots are flat. See photos below of the casino and RV area.
